Several of our friends have stayed here and raved about this place. We had 3 campers together and LOVED it. There are no shade trees yet but the trees are small and in time will give good shade. The sites are all concrete with ample grass areas in between. There are golf carts everywhere but didn't pose a problem. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool/tiki bar area is outstanding. They really cater to families by having activities for the kids, a playground, and mini golf, as well as beach volleyball. The Wi-Fi is available but sometimes spotty. This is a great place to camp. We can't wait to go back.
We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were really helpful, and the CG is very well kept. The park has a gazebo in the center with gas fire pit and plenty of seating. There is a casino shuttle for Treasure Bay, although the casino is within walking distance. Though our site wasn't perfectly level, it was very managable. The hookups were great. The view of the Gulf from our site was outstanding. As far as the train and noise, it wasn't that bad. We will definitely stay here again.
This campground is well kept with a friendly staff. The sites are limestone and level with good hookups. There is 24 hour security on site. The c/g is located across from Graceland and next door to Elvis attractions. The Heartbreak Hotel is in front of c/g. Marlowe's BBQ is just down the street, but if you call after 4pm, they will pick you up at your campsite in a Pink Cadillac and take you to the restaurant anytime you want to go. After dinner, they will bring you back. This was our 1st visit to Memphis and we noticed the area is somewhat rundown. We would have rated the c/g higher, but the price is a bit steep. I don't think Memphis is for us.
We stayed here for the Halloween weekend because of all the activities. There were events planned for most of the weekend such as trick-or-treating, site decoration contest (which we won), costume contest, a haunted house, and a dance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, with an escort to the site and help in backing in. The small store at the office had a small selection of groceries and supplies. Sites also had fire rings and picnic tables. We had seven campers in our group and they were able to spot us all together. This made everything so much easier. We really had a great time and will return next year, hopefully with more campers. Would have rated it a 10 but our side of the campground backs up to the highway and log/gravel trucks can be noisy at times, but that was minor. There is a wood fence separating campground from the highway. This shouldn't deter anyone from staying here. It really is a great place.
This is a really nice campground. The sites are all concrete and landscaped and ours was perfectly level. The only thing is that the concrete on the awning side doesn't go far enough back, so we could not back the camper all the way in. We had to leave about 10' behind the camper open so that we could enjoy full use of the awning. Not a bad trade off for such a beautiful place. They also have pull-thrus with ample parking. The pool is well kept and the bathhouse is clean and has A/C. There are some beautiful oak trees on the premises, most being up front near the office. The staff was extremely friendly. It is less than a mile from the beach. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby as well as the ferry boats to Ship Island located a short drive away in Gulfport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
This campground is tucked away in the woods which makes it a very rustic getaway. There are activ- ities planned on most weekends. It has a nice pool, catch-and-release fishing pond, paddle boat rentals, playground, biking trails and more. Not all sites have sewer hookup so be sure to request it if you need it. The "woodsy" atmosphere makes for a relaxing time. There are quite a few permanents in the CG but that wasn't a problem. The roads and sites are gravel and drain good when it rains. Site was very level. We enjoyed our stay.
This park has concrete drives and sites that are extremely level. The hookups are like I've never seen before (i.e. almost perfect)! The post for the hookups is lit up at night so setting up in the dark or draining tanks is easy. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings/bbq pits. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are new managers that are very willing to make your stay comfortable. The pool is saltwater and very refreshing. The pond has a small fee to fish it, but is supposedly well stocked with big fish, and also paddleboats for rent. There are not very many trees in the center of the park, most are on the outskirts. The managers are in the process of sprucing up the park with planned landscaping and activities (miniature golf, playground, etc.) Bathhouses are very well kept. No scooters are allowed but personal golf carts are everywhere. They have a small store in the office, as well as truck stop/store at the entrance. Wal-Mart is not far away. All-in-all, a nice, relaxing place to stay. We will be back.
This is a nice, shaded park with a friendly staff that escorts you to the site, and helps with backing in. We camped with 4 other campers, and the staff was able to group us together. The sites are grassy but our site was not very level. The sewer hookup is elevated and at an odd angle, making it difficult to drain tanks without "walking the hose" several times. Fire rings and picnic tables at each site. Activities scheduled throughout the year. Playground, putt-putt, pool etc., to keep the kids busy. We will stay here again. This is also a Good Sam campground.
This is a nice campground with very beautiful scenery. The mountains in the morning light are worth getting up early to see. The staff was very friendly and escorted us to our site. They set us on a pull-thru so that we didn't have to disconnect as we were there for only 1 night. This makes a nice stop-over or extended stay.
Stayed at this CG on a recommendation from a friend. This is a nice, clean campground with good amenities. Clean bathhouse and laundromat with cold drinks and ice machines on site. Our site was roomy and many are shaded. We will stay here again on our next trip to Pigeon Forge.
A little overpriced for the stay. Sites are grass/dirt but level and roads are gravel. This is a nice place with wooded sites if you just want to relax for a while. Pond on site is catch-and-release. Staff did allow 2 of us to turn campers toward each other since we had 3 parties camping together. Global Wildlife Reserve is just down the road.
